Refund Policy

This policy explains refunds for online cancellations, faulty goods and discretionary in-store returns.

Last updated: 15 October 2026

In-store purchases

We do not provide change-of-mind monetary refunds for satisfactory in-store purchases. Eligible full-price items may qualify for exchange or credit note within 14 days. Sale and clearance items bought in-store are excluded from discretionary change-of-mind returns.

Antiques and unique items

In-store antique, fine art, vintage and upcycled pieces are sold as seen in respect of accurately disclosed condition. Management may approve a discretionary credit note or exchange. Eligible online purchases retain cancellation rights.

Online cancellation refunds

For a valid distance-selling cancellation, the refund normally includes the goods price and the least expensive standard outbound delivery charge offered for the order, but not an additional premium-delivery amount. Direct return transport may be payable if properly disclosed before purchase.

Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods

Where a full refund is legally due, we reimburse the product price and applicable initial delivery charges. Remedies may alternatively include repair, replacement or price reduction as the law provides. We do not impose an administration or restocking fee on a legally required refund.

Evidence and review

We may request an order number, email address, return reason and reasonable photographs and may inspect returned goods. This process will be proportionate and will not unlawfully delay or prevent a statutory remedy.

Timing

We aim to process eligible refunds within seven working days of receiving returned goods where practicable. For a valid online cancellation, the statutory deadline is generally no later than 14 days after receiving the goods or evidence they were sent back, whichever is earlier. Bank or card providers may take additional time to display the credit.

Method

Refunds are ordinarily processed using the original payment method, including payments handled through Stripe, unless an alternative is lawfully agreed. Transaction details may be verified before release.

Deductions

For statutory cancellation, a deduction may be made only where legally permitted for diminished value caused by handling beyond reasonable inspection. No arbitrary restocking fee applies.

Credit notes

Credit notes for discretionary in-store returns are not cash redeemable. Their value, expiry and conditions are communicated when issued. A credit note will not be imposed instead of a statutory monetary refund.
